Fluoride The chemical cousin of chlorine is the halogen molecule fluorine, a widely distributed trace mineral of the Earth. But naturally occurring fluorine is a fry cry from artificial fluoride, medicated into municipal drinking water of half of the population. Some symptoms of fluoride are: - muscular weakness,
- chronic fatigue,
- excessive thirst,
- headaches,
- skin rashes,
- joint pains,
- digestive upsets,
- tingling in extremities,
- and loss of mental acuity.
Fluoride is a highly toxic by-product of aluminum production. The aluminum industry, after mining and processing bauxite, has nowhere to dump all this toxic waste. Fluoride is also a by-product of phosphate fertilizer manufacturing. After some research, they finally concluded that they could make a case for putting it in public drinking water, got the dentists behind it to push it, and before too long, without long-term scientific studies, we had fluoridation of most public water supplies. The facts and arguments for or against fluoridation, expressed in the C & EN news report, should be read and studied by every concerned person.
